There’s a reason why asking three questions works. It’s short enough to keep you engaged. It’s long enough to make you think and feel honored that someone is taking the time to get to know you. And, how often do people ask you three questions about yourself, let alone one?

I’m starting a series of interviews with powerful women – guess how many questions there’ll be? Go on, just give it a guess! 

The novel, Three Questions, is more than just a cute love story that I wanted to get out there based on the three questions that Jock asked me while we he traveled through Africa. My entire life, I’ve wanted to take snapshots of moments in time to save forever – acting, writing – it’s all linked. When someone takes the time to ask you anything about yourself – it’s a moment for reflection,  and a chance to seek your own humble truth.

Back in England, I started a series called Interview with the Fam Series where I asked my entire family questions to find out more about them. (My Grandpa Harry’s interview is especially special to me since he can no longer use his computer, and is quickly developing symptoms of dementia). They’re all special – they are moments in time that I caught forever, and that I can cherish forever.

These were much longer than three questions – these were long. But, I understand that both my grandfathers, my mother, and even my sister (god forbid) won’t be around for ever. I need to learn as much about them as I can as soon as I can. On a selfish level, while I learn about them, I am also learning about myself, my own history, and where I come from, and why I do what I do how I do it. On another level, they deserve to be highlighted.

Well, now it’s your turn. (Well, it’s the woman’s turn. Sorry men.)

I want to learn about what makes women tick. I love women -
strong women,
women who have had struggles and have overcome them,
stay-at-home-mom women,
women who are single and traveling the world,
women who have loud, juicy opinions;
or even women who just have a really, damn good cackle.

I’m ready to be inspired by you, to be humbled by you and to hear from you. And in turn, I hope you feel the same way about these stories.
